In the 1980's the toy line "My Little Pony - Stylish Pony" debuted in Japan from Takara.
Takara Ponies were not very popular in Japan, and were only in circulation for about a year in 1985.

Today they are seen as very rare and hard to find. These ponies are highly sought after by collectors and loved by their owners. Because of their rarity, pricing information on these ponies is often hard to come by.

Takara Pony Pricing is committed to bringing honest up to date pricing information for the educated pony collector!

Takara Ponies are sold in a few different ways.
A Mint in Box Pony or MIB Pony will always be the most valuable and tends to sell for more.

A loose pony comes without a box, and little or no accessories or clothing. Loose ponies can range in price depending on condition.

A bait Takara Pony would be one in poor condition, and not as sought after by a collector. Very few Bait ponies have been found.

Although Takara Ponies are considered rare, more and more are showing up for sale privately and publicly.

Takara Pony Pricing will be tracking the quantities of found ponies for Nirvana pony collectors.
